BRIEF: An old lady's apparition who attends funerals. SUMMARY: There is a graveyard in Emmitsburg at St. Josephs cemetery there is a ghostly woman who attends all the funerals there. Many people have seen her and have talked to her. BRIEF: Don't go in the deep, dark woods. SUMMARY: There is a very dense forest located in Skyesville near Route 97. It is thick, almost impenetrable, with undergrowth, and it effectively separates two neighborhoods.
People near the woods have heard the sound of disembodied whistling, peoples' voices and footsteps. BRIEF: A private school with numerous hauntings. SUMMARY: This is a private school located on McDough Road in Owings Mills. The school has a number of haunted locations.
The Tagart Chapel is a beautiful little chapel, and people have been buried in its floor, walls and basement. Subsequently, people have heard voices talking in the chapel when no one was in the building. BRIEF: Long involved with Maryland history. SUMMARY: The house was built by Charles Carroll in 1754. It's a large Georgian style mansion house, and it was build in five sections. The Mount Clare Mansion sat in the center of his 800 acre Patapsco River plantation. |
