No one knows the history of this house but it definitely haunted (and probably dangerous) and you will not want to enter it alone. BRIEF: The ghost of an elderly woman visits Room 10 SUMMARY: The hotel is haunted by an elderly woman that is seen in Room 10. The elderly woman was a frequent guest of the hotel in life. She developed a close friendship to the previous owner and her child. The spirit is reportedly very active if there is a child around. The television, it's said, will turn on by itself and the lights will turn off and on by themselves.
Phantom footsteps have been heard in the halls. BRIEF: Numerous deaths near the Paw Paw Tunnel. SUMMARY: Various nearby and sometimes related deaths, including a gravesite make this tunnel mysteriously unique. BRIEF: Dogs were used as messengers, etc. SUMMARY: Dogs were used during the Civil War as messengers, guards and mascots. When the men went marching off to war during the Civil War they often took their dogs with them. War dogs used as mascots demonstrated bravery, loyalty and earned affections.
