BRIEF: Old courthouse remains home to many ghosts SUMMARY: This 1887-era courthouse building in Mays Landing is haunted by numerous ghostly presences. These include the ghostly woman who is seen sobbing and a young ghostly child. The lights turn themselves on, and the sounds of jangling keys can be heard in the hallway. BRIEF: A horse's skull in the wall can't be a good thing... SUMMARY: The house was built in 1810. The Greens purchased the home and had it remodeled. One of the construction workers found a horse's skull in the wall of the dining room. The Green's horse died two weeks after the skull was found from unknown cause. The Greens feel that the finding of the skull was a foretelling of their horse's death. |
