One of the original coolers from the funeral home is still located in the basement of the restaurant. BRIEF: To clear his name SUMMARY: Dan Starrett was asleep in his mobile home in Reedsville, on April 17, 1973. He awoke because his bed was shaking around about 3 a.m. in the morning. He saw a man standing at the end of the hall. The man was dressed in a black vest, a badge, and felt hat. Starett recognized the man was dressed in a railroad police officer uniform. The man had the same type of built that Starrett had. The man was stout with broad-shouldered. As he watch the man the man disappeared in front of his face. |
