BRIEF: Caution: Ghosts at play SUMMARY: The Playhouse was used a dance hall and playhouse until its closing in 1999.
The building is haunted by at least nine ghosts. One of the ghosts is the former general in charge of Pee Patch Island, less than a mile away by water. The building is also haunted by a malicious demon, evidenced by an omnipresent feeling of evil and dread in two of the upstairs rooms. BRIEF: An old hotel presents phantom voices and coffee smell SUMMARY: Visiting the Townsend Hotel is a common thrill amongst local teenagers. So many have subsequently reported "hearing voices" that the paranormal activity is hard to overstate. BRIEF: Ghosts of nuns long passed make their presence known SUMMARY: It's said that ghosts of nuns long since passed made their presence known: cold spots, self-locking doors, and nearly constant "uneasy feelings of being watched".
