SUMMARY: The Eastern shore has a long history of haunting and ghostly tales. This area had a huge furnace where slaves had to work long hard hours. Many people believe that the ghost of slaves still haunts this area.

SUMMARY: Seneca School was built in 1865. The school served the children in the local farming community for more than 45 years. Students attending the school were from the age of six to sixteen years. Girls sat on one side of the one-room schoolhouse and boys sat on the other side. The school was heated by an old potbelly stove. The school has been restored and now serves as a museum.
