What is East Ghost?
EastGhost is a social nexus for paranormal enthusiasts, researchers and the curious that exists to empower, showcase and connect individuals, groups and information. Open, inclusive and climate-controlled, it offers a positive and constructive atmosphere that's enjoyable and maximally conducive to sharing and learning. One purpose is the collection, discussion and presentation of knowledge and findings: scientific, spiritual, supernatural, and anything paranormal.
With the ongoing help of and for the benefit of numerous individuals and various groups, EastGhost exists to network, share information, and maintain cohesiveness in the paranormal community that we all love. Broadly, we're all involved in the pursuit of truth, happiness and to find enjoyment, information and answers.
Members, independently or in whatever fluid alliances they wish, often share their experiences, expertise and investigative results, many of which are highly focused and ongoing. With thousands of registered members, updates and improvements are frequent; there's always something new.
We're building an organized and maintained "haunts database". We offer an unique melding of forums, pictures and file uploads that's powerful, flexible and purpose-built to make finding and sharing easy and fast. We also help friends keep in touch, individuals find groups and vice-versa, and investigators present their findings. Emailed to all members, activity, events and announcements reach many people quickly. If your group needs more members or is announcing an event, or if you're an individual seeking nearby groups, events or to be involved with investigations, we offer amplification and a good venue for finding and meeting your goals.

BRIEF: An uncommon haunting of a gravestone SUMMARY: The ghost of a woman by the name of Lonell has been seen wandering the Cemetery during dusk hours. Her manifestation is mostly as the shape of a blue sphere, but she sometimes materializes into recognizable form. There have been several reports over the years.
Named for the gravestone she hovers near and regards, her real name may have been different if her ghost is frequenting Lonell's grave. There are three floors in the building, but tourists are only allowed on the first two. Employees of the restaurant have reported everything being moved around when they come to work in the morning. On the second floor, near the steps going up, whistling may be heard. Photographs have been made of paranormal entities. BRIEF: They claspeed hands and stepped off SUMMARY: It's said that a young couple, who were madly in love despite their disapproving families, held hands as they jumped from this bridge. People travelling the bridge have reported seeing ghostly apparitions of a young girl crying, "I love you." Other reports have included apparitions jumping from the bridge. BRIEF: The oldest running Inn SUMMARY: This Inn, supposedly the oldest running one in America, is reportedly haunted by Civil War soldiers. Guests and employees have reported seeing various ghostly soldiers.
During the Civil War the Inn served as a hospital. Soldiers from both the North and the South occupied the area. Guests and employees have reported figures of ghostly soldiers dressed in blue and gray uniforms. They have also noted footsteps and sounds of hushed talking. BRIEF: At night it's reportedly possible to see a light moving back and forth across the top floor of this hall.
