SUMMARY: William Reynolds built the Georgian-style, 3-story tavern in 1747, and he became the first tavern keeper; however, it's had many uses over the years. A cashier who worked at Farmers National Bank lived in the old Tavern From 1812 to 1935. The Tavern housed the Anne Arundel County Library from 1936 to 1957. The National Trust for Historic preservation then purchased the building.

SUMMARY: The house was built in 1902 and has served as a family home, grocery store, rental property and even a brothel. The Inn opened for business in March of 2000. The new owners were unaware that the place was haunted until they started receiving visits from four different former tenants who had rented the property. They were curious to know if the current owners had experienced anything unusual.

Built during the Revolutionary War, Kenmore became Colonel Fielding Lewis' home. Lewis owned the Fredericksburg Arms Manufactory company but lost much of his fortune when Virginia's government did not reimburse him fairly. Lewis died in 1781 and the estate was sold.

SUMMARY: Ariana Vanderheyden Jennings lived from 1690 to 1741. She was the grand-daughter of Augustine Herman and grandmother to John Brice III. Mrs. Jennings once had a strange event happen before she went to England. In the twilight of sleep before her trip, she saw a ghostly apparition of a female figure. This female, sitting in Mrs. Jenning's home but under an odd portrait that she'd never seen before, was ill with small pox, as evidenced all over her face. Mrs. Jennings recognized the resemblance of the apparition to the unmarked lady in the picture. Mrs. Jennings had told her husband, John Brice II, about the ghostly apparition and her vision.

It was there that he supposedly had a French spy hanged. During the early 1760's it became a tavern with a second-story added. This was then used as a frontier courtroom where several people were hanged. These restless spirits are responsible for a multitude of supernatural activities at the inn. Reports of cold spots, strange lights, anomalies showing up on film, and apparitions.

SUMMARY: Concord lighthouse is the 2nd oldest lighthouse tower on Chesapeake Bay. People say that the lighthouse is haunted. People have seen ghostly apparitions and heard ghostly noises.

The land that the church was built on was donated by Robert Harper. Harper's last will and testament in 1782 donated four acres of land to establishing a Church.
