Psy-ops "combined to redefine the parameters of acceptable discourse in America. Principal among the notions placed beyond the Pale was the practice and theory of "conspiracism" -- which soon came to include criticism of mainstream reportage. More than a matter of seeing cabals behind every murder, it was a way of thinking, a stance toward the networks, the press and the feds. Anyone who looked too deeply into events, or who asked too many questions, was dismissed as "a conspiracy theorist." (This, after MK-ULTRA, Iran-Contra, BCCI, and the destruction of the World Trade Centers.) In some ways, it is as if the century itself has been encrypted, so that if an historian would be honest, he must also become an investigative reporter. Failing that, we are left at the mercy of ambitious academicians and journalists, stenographers to power who are themselves complicit in an astonishing string of cover-ups and atrocities that stretch from Dealy Plaza to Watergate, Waco to 9/11." --Peter Levenda

BRIEF: Brandywine Creek Battle SUMMARY: Charlie Miller is still searching for his head.
Miller was a colonist who was decapitated by a British cannon. His headless ghost followed his comrades to Chadds Ford, where it happened upon two British snipers who were preparing to snipe George Washington (there commanding troops battling British General Howe, Sep 11, 1777). BRIEF: Odd things happening in Turnquist neighborhood of Elkton, MD SUMMARY: On Delancy Road, just off Rt. 40 at the Delaware/Maryland line, is a neighborhood called Turnquist.
On December 8, 1963, a plane (Pan American Boeing 707 - Flight 214 - Baltimore to Philadelphia) with 81 passengers was flying over the Maryland/Delaware border when lightning struck the wing and ignited the plane. The plane crashed and the 81 people all died. Their bodies were scattered all over a field on Delancy Road.
Turnquist was built on that field, and residents report many strange happenings, noises and sightings. All that remains of the ground where those bodies fell is a remembrance plaque, right next to the sign for the neighborhood. BRIEF: A wonderful old church, now a private residence BRIEF: Haunted before and more after Underground Railroad activities SUMMARY: Castle Angelo is located on top of its highest nearby hill. Built in 1831, the Castle was named "Michelangelos" but then its name was shortened to Angelo.
Many people have owned the house over the years. The Reverend Moore lived in the house; strange experiences began after he moved in. The sounds of footsteps and thumping were heard in the house.
