BRIEF: Another Prison haunted by those who once lived within it's walls SUMMARY: Built east of Bosie in 1870 when the Idaho Territory was under ten years old, the old territorial prison originally a single cell-block, which eventually expanded into campus of several buildings surrounded by a high sandstone wall. The penitentiary is now a historical museum where some visitors and employees have experienced apperisions, cold spots, odd noises, and doors opening and closing by unseen hands. BRIEF: Just a hill in the woods. SUMMARY: Green Mountain in Cheverly, not too far from the Prince Georges hospital. It was rumored to be the camp site for the British troops that marched through Bladensburg and later on into DC. BRIEF: This school was built over top of an old cemetery. SUMMARY: This school was built over top of an old cemetery. Several bodies had been professional moved in order to accommodate the building. BRIEF: College dormitory SUMMARY: Dormitory supposedly haunted. Was alone in my 2 room dorm room one night (roommates had gone out). Turned off all of the electronics, as had become our room's schedule every night. Locked front door, went to bed in back. Talking to roommates, who were hanging out in Times Square on the phone, when stereo came on in the front room. Went out to check on it, turned it off, turned off power in the surge protector, too. Back to bedroom, just in time to have TV and lava lamp turn on. Turned them off and the surge protector they were on. Back to bedroom, got comfy and a bit sleepy, when stereo in the front room came on at full volume. Ran up to front, turned it off, unplugged it. Back to bed - as soon as I was comfortable, ALL of the electronics in the front room came on. Ran to the front, unlocked the (still) locked door and went to sleep across the hall. After that, we had problems with electronics coming on and off in the rooms at random times, itmes moving from the places they were put - and I had a OCD roommate who had to have everything put away in its place at all times. Never could find out who or what the entity was that was making life in 3D so much fun. |
