SUMMARY: No reports of hauntings, despite a creepy feeling. Rumors persist of a subterranean bomb shelter and possibly more than one underground tunnel. Construction period unknown. Bomb shelter suggests mid 1900's.

River-Kimwell Nursing Home

BRIEF: Beware the blonde knock out

SUMMARY: This home is haunted by an old man dressed in a black suit and black top hat. He has been seen by most of the elderly living there. Lights in the basement have been known to go on and off by themselves. There is also a young blonde nurse that has been seen by the residents. The nurse has been known to 'make them feel better,' but then a few days after seeing the ghostly nurse some pass away.

St. Andrew's Church Rd. Bridge

Hollywood, St. Mary's County, Maryland
AKA: Crybaby Bridge; Cry Baby Bridge

BRIEF: Apparitions and Bridges are never a good mix

SUMMARY: There is a bridge located near Hollywood, Maryland, along St. Andrew's Church Road. The bridge crosses over a dark, swampy area. This location is home to two different ghosts.

Gaslight Antiques

BRIEF: Dead baby; hung mother; never a good combo.

SUMMARY: This house was once a once was a boardinghouse prior to becoming an Antique Shop. A woman lived in the house, and she became a unwed mother. She was in her 40s at the time when gave birth to a baby in the house. The baby died and the woman became depressed. She committed suicide by hanging herself from a balcony.
