BRIEF: The wife died on the 4th floor SUMMARY: The spirit of Clover Adams haunts The Hay-Adams Hotel. She was the wife of original owner Henry Adams. Mrs. Adams committed suicide in 1885 on the fourth floor. She is still seen on the fourth floor of the hotel today by guests and employees.
