BRIEF: An apartment building turned awry SUMMARY: Back in the 1960's 133 Rosevelt Ave in Dover Delaware was a very haunted place. It was a house that had been converted into an aptment building. The apartment on the left as you came into the front door was so bad that the aptment manager couldn't even rent it out. The attic had weird stuff as well. BRIEF: beach front cabin SUMMARY: When I was in school we went on a field trip to Ms. Moran's cottage not sure why, it was near a beach and in Calvert County. We were told that the house was once occupied by a woman who was known as a witch and was hung for her "crimes". You could sense her near the "hanging tree" which was very oddly shaped and creepy. BRIEF: An accident badly burns three men and kills one. SUMMARY: Back in the early 1980's, during construction of what is now a quite popular restaurant, 3 steamfitters were involved in a movie-like, fiery explosion. The restaurant features natural gas lamps inside. The men were working on installing the lamps, and apparently an electrical spark inadvertently ignited what became a small, intensely hot fireball. |
