BRIEF: Brandywine Creek Battle SUMMARY: Charlie Miller is still searching for his head.
Miller was a colonist who was decapitated by a British cannon. His headless ghost followed his comrades to Chadds Ford, where it happened upon two British snipers who were preparing to snipe George Washington (there commanding troops battling British General Howe, Sep 11, 1777). BRIEF: A whole host of weird goings-on has been reported in and around this school. SUMMARY: A high school with one of its wings built above a graveyard that was dedicated to the slaves that worked on the Old Ward House plantation. BRIEF: Frightened of Teacher SUMMARY: This school is the Port Republic School Number 7. It is over one-hundred years old. People believe the school is haunted by students and teachers from its past. People claim that they have heard strange noises and have seen strange lights in the building. BRIEF: Tons of teaching in this one-room schoolhouse SUMMARY: The 1865 Seneca School House was a one-room building used in schooling the local farming community. It's located on Berryville Road.
