BRIEF: River Front Murder SUMMARY: Sight of a murder by a unstable husband, said to be haunted by the ghost of his murdered wife. BRIEF: Another Prison haunted by those who once lived within it's walls SUMMARY: Built east of Bosie in 1870 when the Idaho Territory was under ten years old, the old territorial prison originally a single cell-block, which eventually expanded into campus of several buildings surrounded by a high sandstone wall. The penitentiary is now a historical museum where some visitors and employees have experienced apperisions, cold spots, odd noises, and doors opening and closing by unseen hands. BRIEF: A silver sworded ghost. SUMMARY: John Best owned a home on North Market Street. John was killed in the Civil War. His ghost has been seem coming up the step of the house dressed in his uniform with a sword. The house was remodeled and a silver sword wrapped in a silk scarf was found in a secret corner board under the wood floor. The sword is the one that the ghost has been seen carrying. BRIEF: Tomahawk Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Tomahawk WV SUMMARY: Tomahawk Cemetery is behind Tomahawk Presbyterian church on Presbyterian Church Road in Berkeley County, close to Hedgesville WV BRIEF: Nothing haunts like good southern cookin! SUMMARY: The restaurant is haunted by a ghostly woman. Staff and customers have heard the sounds of a woman's laughter in the building. No one can find where the sound is coming from. The restaurant has a bell number that informs the servers when the food is ready to serve. The bell goes off all by itself. There is a very cold spot in the dishwashing area. The lights in the freezer turn on by themselves. |
