Psy-ops "combined to redefine the parameters of acceptable discourse in America. Principal among the notions placed beyond the Pale was the practice and theory of "conspiracism" -- which soon came to include criticism of mainstream reportage. More than a matter of seeing cabals behind every murder, it was a way of thinking, a stance toward the networks, the press and the feds. Anyone who looked too deeply into events, or who asked too many questions, was dismissed as "a conspiracy theorist." (This, after MK-ULTRA, Iran-Contra, BCCI, and the destruction of the World Trade Centers.) In some ways, it is as if the century itself has been encrypted, so that if an historian would be honest, he must also become an investigative reporter. Failing that, we are left at the mercy of ambitious academicians and journalists, stenographers to power who are themselves complicit in an astonishing string of cover-ups and atrocities that stretch from Dealy Plaza to Watergate, Waco to 9/11." --Peter Levenda

SUMMARY: At least 10 ghosts haunt this newly built theatre... BRIEF: famiily home of General Anthony Wayne SUMMARY: Female visitors to the house have heard sobbing sounds coming from the attic as well as the sound of shattering glass, but these are not heard by male visitors. One of the more recent occurrences was reported in 1997, when the site manager of the house told the Main Line Today magazine that she had awakened in the middle of the night by the sound of a woman sobbing in the attic and of glass breaking.
According to local tradition, Hannah Wayne, who had resided in the house in the mid-1800's had been alone in the house doing her chores, and had gotten stuck in the trap door into the attic. Though she managed to free herself, she knocked over a candle in the process and ignited her dress. In a state of panic, she rushed to the nearest window and kicked out the glass, hoping that someone would then be able to hear her screams. She succumbed tot he flames moments later.
The house is currently under the control of Chester County for historic preservation and is listed as a historic landmark. BRIEF: A bridge that carried wounded Confederate troops.
