He taught her the ways of herbs and incantations in place of medicine not then available. Her demise, while not at the formal level of burning at the stake, was reportedly shadowy and suspicious. BRIEF: 18th Century House haunted by a former owner SUMMARY: The home built in 1785, is located near Bryantown. The former owner, Anne Dent Beam, has been seen haunting this home. She died in 1839 and she still makes appearances today. Reportedly, people do not find her scary. BRIEF: This building was constructed in the 1790's.
