BRIEF: It's not the fall, but the stop at the end SUMMARY: The 4.3 mile long Chesapeake Bay Bridge has been used by people to commit suicide ever since it opened in 1952. The Chesapeake Bay Bridge had only been opened four months when a Baltimore engineer leapt from the bridge in September, 1952. He jumped off the high tower span. It is unknown whether he drowned in the frigid waters 190 feet below, or whether he bapped against steel and concrete on his way to a watery grave. SUMMARY: The country club is known to be haunted by a ghostly spirit that occupies one of the bedrooms located above the living room.
