BRIEF: Soldiers stick around SUMMARY: This building, used during the Civil War, is where the soldiers came to collect their pension. The old building is thought to be haunted by ghostly soldiers. Soldiers have been seen arriving "mounted, on horseback" to the building. The building's designer, Montgomery Meigs, also haunts the building. His face has been seen at the top of the marble columns in the building's great hall. BRIEF: The most dangerous place is between a mother and her infant SUMMARY: This former college is now a private residence and has been so since the 1940's.
