BRIEF: Wiggly and wily and wild. SUMMARY: A Giant Snake has been known to live in the forest area of Rocks.
Rocks has unique rock formations located along the banks of Deer Creek. The area is known to be haunted by a Giant Snake. SUMMARY: Phillip Voss of Annapolis launched his kayak off the east shore of Chincoteague Bay. It was December 5, 1992, and he planned to cross the Chesapeake Bay in his red kayak. The wind was blowing gusts that reached up to 35mph. Beach walkers found his swamped kayak on December 8. His body was found on December 9. BRIEF: An abandoned mining town gets an overhaul and new life SUMMARY: Once a mining town and then home to all sundry sorts before becoming a literal ghost town, Dunton Hot Springs has found new life as an exclusive luxury resort deep in the San Juan Range of the Colorado Rockies. BRIEF: Young boy fisherman tumbles into lake and is ground up by turbines SUMMARY: A story from the 1970's tells of a young boy who, while fishing at the top of Croton Dam, slipped and fell into the water. He was apparently knocked unconscious and his body was taken in by the turbines. They mangled him and he ended up dead. BRIEF: Spirits remain on this haunted land SUMMARY: Standing on ground that was formerly a bar, employees at this Dairy Queen talk about a resident ghost, manifested mostly as the cause of odd noises or lights flickering on and off.
