SUMMARY: A Giant Snake has been known to live in the forest area of Rocks. Rocks has unique rock formations located along the banks of Deer Creek. The area is known to be haunted by a Giant Snake.

Chesapeake Bay - Water Tragedies

SUMMARY: Phillip Voss of Annapolis launched his kayak off the east shore of Chincoteague Bay. It was December 5, 1992, and he planned to cross the Chesapeake Bay in his red kayak. The wind was blowing gusts that reached up to 35mph. Beach walkers found his swamped kayak on December 8. His body was found on December 9.

SUMMARY: A story from the 1970's tells of a young boy who, while fishing at the top of Croton Dam, slipped and fell into the water. He was apparently knocked unconscious and his body was taken in by the turbines. They mangled him and he ended up dead.
