BRIEF: Old lady in 30's/40's style day dress walking small white dog disappears SUMMARY: Along a small less-used segmented area of Gunpowder Falls State Park in Harford county, I have observed a strange occurrence 3 times in the past year or so. Along Laurel Bush road and Guyton road I have observed an old woman in a nice clean day dress and a big floppy bonnet like/gardening hat (1930's/40's style) walking a small clean white terrier dog. As I pass her she turns her back and looks down and picks her dog up always keeping her back to me passing in my truck. As I make the sharp curve to the left and turn around she is completely gone. BRIEF: Kate Batts, the historic Bell Witch of Tennessee SUMMARY: Kate Batts, the historic Bell Witch has become famous due to continuing strange occurances in the area of Adams, Tennessee. BRIEF: This Bed and Breakfast Inn is haunted by a peaceful little child. SUMMARY: The house was built in 1790 and built onto in 1840. The house has belonged to the same family since 1861. A peaceful little child haunts this Bed and Breakfast Inn. One of the rooms was once the child's bedroom, and the ghostly child still resides there. The house was also used to help runaway slaves as part of the Underground Railroad. BRIEF: Don't mess with Patty SUMMARY: Patty Cannon led an infamous kidnapping group that stole slaves and sold them. Patty was a large woman standing 6 feet and weighing over 180 pounds. She used her house as the headquarters. Her home was built in the early 19th century. |
