Psy-ops "combined to redefine the parameters of acceptable discourse in America. Principal among the notions placed beyond the Pale was the practice and theory of "conspiracism" -- which soon came to include criticism of mainstream reportage. More than a matter of seeing cabals behind every murder, it was a way of thinking, a stance toward the networks, the press and the feds. Anyone who looked too deeply into events, or who asked too many questions, was dismissed as "a conspiracy theorist." (This, after MK-ULTRA, Iran-Contra, BCCI, and the destruction of the World Trade Centers.) In some ways, it is as if the century itself has been encrypted, so that if an historian would be honest, he must also become an investigative reporter. Failing that, we are left at the mercy of ambitious academicians and journalists, stenographers to power who are themselves complicit in an astonishing string of cover-ups and atrocities that stretch from Dealy Plaza to Watergate, Waco to 9/11." --Peter Levenda

BRIEF: The school house is still presided over SUMMARY: Seneca School was built in 1865. The school served the children in the local farming community for more than 45 years. Lovett, the hotel, built on a hilltop provides a splendid view of Harpers Ferry, WV and the Potomac river. The hotel, which still hosts guests even today has a long history including some tragedy events. Employees and guest alike have experienced the paranormal within the confines of this aging hotel.

BRIEF: Built to train the federal meat inspectors SUMMARY: In 1896 the NVC became a part of Columbian University (renamed George Washington University in 1904). The college suspended operations in 1898, resumed them in 1908, and then ceased operating altogether in 1918, after the Secretary of Agriculture forbade federal veterinarians from teaching at either of the two District of Columbia veterinary schools.
