BRIEF: An unlikely source of "full body." SUMMARY: "Fred" was the grave robber for the medical school. Sometimes he would dig up a body and place it in a barrel of whiskey, waiting for any moral storm to pass before selling the cadaver to the school. Afterwards, Fred would sell the whiskey to the medical students. Frequent "bits" of stuff floating in the resulting beverages gave birth to the saying "full body." This is were that expression purportedly originated. BRIEF: Founded in 1808 by Father John DuBois the area is the center of much activity SUMMARY: St. Elizabeth Ann Seton's ghostly vision has been seen on numerous occasions at the college.
