SUMMARY: The Weinberg Center opened just before Christmas, 1926. The theater had 1,500 seats. The Tivoli Theatre was the largest of the three downtown Frederick movie houses. It cost over $300,000 to build, a fantastic sum in its time. The Tivoli featured lavish decoration with marble, mosaics, velvet chairs, and crystal chandeliers. The theater had a Wurlitzer organ. It is the only one in that is still completely intact and in it original shape. The architect for the Tivoli was John J. Zink. He was a native of Baltimore. The theater business of course steadily declined, and the Tivoli finally closed. A disastrous flood in 1976 from a nearby river caused substantial damage. The town decided to restore the grand old theater to its original glory. It took a year and a half to restore the building, but the rebuilt Tivoli reopened in 1978, now known as the Weinberg Center for the Arts, having been named for the family that donated the building to the city of Frederick. The old theater is thought to be haunted by spirits who worked in the old theater in its past.

SUMMARY: A young girl known as Sally haunts the Foodlion in Summersville. She is a young girl around the age of 8, and she knocks stuff off the shelves and then returns them to their original spots. However, when Sally gets upset she is said to pick up wooden crates and smash them to the ground. After months of research the management was told by the former owners that Sally was buried underneath the store's location.
