BRIEF: A girl's hanging caused this school's right wing to be closed SUMMARY: The haunting spirit of a young girl who hung herself in a bathroom some years ago reportedly caused the entire right wing of this school to be closed off. BRIEF: The ghost of a woman searches the darkness for her lost son SUMMARY: This local legend involves a cemetery and eerie light signals shared by a mother and her children from long ago. It's said that cars facing the cemetery which flash their lights are greeted by a return signal of bluish light. Approaching the blue light, however, causes it to disappear. BRIEF: Generally avoid blasting powder in the attic. SUMMARY: A young girl died in this house back in the mid-1800s. She accidentally set blasting powder on fire in the attic and the house caught on fire. The young girl caught on fire, too, and she burned to death in the house.
