It's long been rumored that a young lady hung herself in the closet of that room, and her body wasn't discovered for some time. The room was closed off for 15 years after that incident. When it was reopened, it's said that a strong smell of lilies lingered. The room was sealed off again to head off rumors of persistent haunting. BRIEF: Just a hill in the woods. SUMMARY: Green Mountain in Cheverly, not too far from the Prince Georges hospital. It was rumored to be the camp site for the British troops that marched through Bladensburg and later on into DC. BRIEF: A young rape victim lingers SUMMARY: A young girl who was raped and killed near the narrow end of Bottom Rd. reportedly haunts the location, appearing quite real in a torn and bloodied dress. BRIEF: Old farmhouse open to elements but in excellent condition considering. Really unique SUMMARY: Some cool old stuff there, like looking into a life that someone left behind. Very interestig, maybe even moreso if you're more adventurous than I (or really really skinny) and brave enough to make the trip upstairs. |
